Nikolaos Karintzaidis : The building itself is an enormous window to the ocean. .Frank Scott: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?. Nikolaos Karintzaidis : Hand sketching and BIM. .Frank Scott: What is the most unique aspect of your design?. Nikolaos Karintzaidis : Structural designers and Glass specialist have contributed as advisors to the development of the concept. .Frank Scott: What is the role of technology in this particular design?. Nikolaos Karintzaidis : This project can't be realized without the development of a glass type that will meet the specified standards for the function of the particular building. .Frank Scott: Is your design influenced by data or analytical research in any way? What kind of research did you conduct for making this design?. Nikolaos Karintzaidis : Extensive research was conducted regarding environmental and oceanographic data for Dubai. .Frank Scott: What are some of the challenges you faced during the design/realization of your concept?.
