Luminous Lingnan

Inspired by the Manchurian colored window, the work employs generative digital imagery, mirrored environments, and multisensory elements of music, light, and motion to create an ever shifting visual field reminiscent of quantum particles. As viewers move through the space, evolving ink textures framed by geometric abstraction invite moments of meditation and reflection. Through its exploration of humanity, cosmology, microscopic and macroscopic worlds, and the interplay between tradition and innovation, the work examines the dynamic entanglement of culture, nature, and the new technologies.

Luminous Lingnan Immersive Art Installation by Lampo Leong has been highlighted as a creative example of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Luminous Lingnan Immersive Art Installation earned the Iron A' Design Award in Fine Arts and Art Installation Design in 2026. The A' Fine Arts and Art Installation Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design recognition program which celebrates superior design of sculptures, paintings, installations, photographs, drawings, mixed media works, ceramics, art objects, craftworks and more.
